Wrapping it Up!

      Wow! Another semester has flown by. This blog post is just going to be me reminiscing on my time in FILM 100. When I first started this class, I never actually looked deeper into a movie. All I saw in a film was whatever was shown on the screen. However, after going through this course, I have learned so much about films: from the setting, to the cinematography, to the mise en scene. Additionally, I have been exposed to new types of movies I probably would have never watched in my lifetime.      A quick recap of the films we watched this semester were:  Snowy the Turtle Rear Window Get Out Lost in Translation Pan's Labyrinth Me and You and Everyone We Know Jaws The Social Dilemma      My favorites from this list were Rear Window , Get Out , and Jaws . Rear Window was a shock for me. It was the first full film we viewed and I was not excited that it was older. However, the storyline and the way the camera angles were drew me in. The...
